For a personal touch to your beach wedding favors, something which says more than just ‘look i have a wonderful palm tree candle for you to remember my beach wedding day’, then why not get creative and give your guests a personal thank you.

I’m sure the memory of the beach location itself will stay in guests memories for a long time to come,why not make it a little more special by getting personal.They are there to share the union of two people after all, why not give them a hint of just what that union means to you.

PHOTOGRPAHS

* Are a great way to capture nostalgic moments.

* Childhood photographs of you and your new husband, for example can make a heartfelt and personal impression on your guests.
* You can either give them a framed picture of the wedding rehearsal, or perhaps incorporate photographs onto favor packages like boxes or chocolate wrappers.

MONOGRAMS

* Are a great way to symbolise the union of two people.It is your personal stamp.Think of it as coming up with a logo for a new company or perhaps a new sports team.
* You can put your stamp onto invitations, serviettes, thank you notes and cards, even on the cake.
* Monograms can be used to stamp chocolate boxes to give them the personal touch.
* You could opt for a simple monogram comprising of just the letters of you and your partner or perhaps a more elaborate graphic could contain a hint of your beach wedding location e.g if you are in Hawaii then you could add a plumeria or a palm tree.

WHAT GOES INTO A FAVOR

If you are having a small wedding reception then you can get a little more creative by paying individual attention to each guest favors.

When you have larger numbers to cater for however then you have to take your budget into consideration and opt for favors which would generally suite most of the guests on your guestlist and your budget.

FOR THE SWEET TOOTH

Food and Drink favors are usually well received and quite popular but are not long lasting. Though they are convenient.

A few popular food and drink favors are ;

* wine
* mini cakes or tarts
* cookies
* chocolate
* candy
* For a creative twist why not give them cookies and tea instead of just cookies.

FOR THE GREEN FINGERS

* You could give them a bucket of shells and some seed to grow their own tree.

* Add a personalised note to say that you hope that the seeds will grow as your relationship does.This will be motivation for them to take care of the plant.

HOW TO WRAP YOU OWN FAVORS

For a cost effective solution to beach wedding favors why not make your own wrappings for candy and fruit favors.

1. THE CANDY CONE

* Cut three 12-inch squares of paper and one 6-by-6-inch square of cardboard.
* Roll cardboard into cone.
* Secure with adhesive and trim top. Roll tissue squares around cone; fill with candy and treats of your choice.
* Twist top; tie with linen thread or ribbon of your chosen color scheme.

2. THE PEA POD

* Roll two round candies in a 5-by-6-inch rectangular piece of tissue.
* Twist in middle, then at ends; trim.
* Lay the wrapped candies on 5-by-2 1/4-inch dark-green rectangle;
* fold up sides, twist ends, and trim.
* Attach to tag with double-sided tape.

3. APPLE BOTTOMS

* Stack two 12-inch tissue squares.
* Trim edge of both layers.
* Roll apple/or fruit of your choice in tissue, leaving the top exposed.
* Twist tissue at base, cut off excess, and flatten end.
* Punch hole in card tag; tie on with a piece of twine.
* Place fruit in basket for a fruity centrepeice idea.
